Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon: A Night to Dream Gala 2016

Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon: A Night to Dream Gala 2016 raises more than $415,000 to provide a home away from home for families with seriously ill children

More than 600 guests attended the A Night to Dream gala at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver on October 20. Presented by Beedie Development Group and the CRS Group of Companies, the event raised more than $415,000 to provide a home away from home for families with seriously ill children. Silent auction items included a meet and greet with Ryan Reynolds on the set of Deadpool 2 and a Dallas Stars VIP trip package. The gala chair was Lindsey Turner, Shark Club VP marketing; gala emcees were Kristi Gordon and Lynn Colliar from Global News. Grammy-nominated Dan Brubeck performed with the Dan Brubeck Quartet.

Ronald McDonald House is a home away from home for seriously ill children and their families and  vital partner in the delivery of family-centered care. Of the 80,000 patients who visit BC Children’s Hospital every year, 68 per cent of them live outside of Vancouver. Most have no place to stay while receiving the life-saving medical care they require. At Ronald McDonald House BC and Yukon, these are the children and families that are cared for every day.
