Recently, documents obtained through freedom of information requests revealed that some BC Hydro experts are worried fracking might cause B.C.’s Peace Canyon Dam to fail. Fracking, or hydraulic fracturing, is the injection of fluids into rock to release oil and gas; it’s been linked to, among other things, earthquakes.
