Oil and gas well imaging start-up wins $100,000 prize

3D bioprinting, oil well imaging and a content management app take home prizes at B.C. startup competition

DarkVision Technologies, a company developing imagining technologies that provide hi-res images inside oil and gas wells, took home top prize at the BCIC New Ventures competition for B.C. tech companies held Monday night. 

Picking up second place, Aspect Biosystems, a startup that is developing 3D bioprinting of human cells, took home $55,000.

The 14th annual competition was sponsored by the B.C. Innovation Council and New Ventures B.C.
