Small Business BC & the Insurance Bureau of Canada welcomed 300 business professionals at the biggest celebration and networking event of the year. This province-wide contest recognizes and celebrates the important contributions of BC’s entrepreneurs to their local communities and the wider global economy. Guests mingled and networked at the reception prior to awards ceremony in the Crystal ballroom at the Pan Pacific. The winners proved their excellence in 6 categories over 170 other BC businesses during the course of a rigorous five-month contest. The winners had to win votes from the public to be shortlisted to the top ten, then once selected as a top five finalist, they went on to face a panel of judges, pitching their cases as to why they should be named B.C.’s best. The Successful You Awards celebrates the top small businesses from across British Columbia. Small Business BC is a premier resource centre providing entrepreneurs with the information and guidance necessary to build a solid foundation for their business.
