EY Pacific Entrepreneur of the Year Nominees and Judges Reception
Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver
June 9, 2014

Over 100 Pacific Region Entrepreneur of the Year nominees were on hand for a cocktail reception at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver’s outdoor patio. After welcoming remarks, judges were stationed at tables and nominees were each given a 5-minute slot to pitch themselves in a speed-dating-style environment.

To be a nominee one must be an owner, CEO or equivalent of a public or private company that is at least three years old, have some ownership in the company, be primarily responsible for the company’s recent performance and be an active member of top management. The judges will meet later this month to decide this year’s finalists and winners. Finalists will be announced on July 7, and category winners and one overall regional winner will be announced at the EY Pacific Entrepreneur of the Year Gala on September 30. The judges look at a variety of factors: financial performance, vision, leadership, innovation, personal integrity, influence and entrepreneurial spirit.
