This year’s festival is just 10 weeks away

Over 150 guests attended Almost WFF, sponsored by Big Rock Brewery and presented by RE/Max Sea to Sky Real Estate, on September 19 to count down the 10 weeks before the Whistler Film Festival. Filmmakers and actors were on hand for an evening that included canapes, food stations and a host bar. WFF Music Showcase alumna Alexandra Staseson performing as Alexandra and the Fellas provided live musical entertainment. Guests also participated in a Big Rock Brewery tour and tasting experience as well as a silent auction and raffle.

This annual event marks the countdown to the Whistler Film Festival, taking place November 28 to December 2 this year. Proceeds will support WFF’s 2018 programs for Canadian talent, industry initiatives, talent programs and the film festival.
