If you’re a Canadian entrepreneur in search of funding, this could be your big break.

The producers of Dragons’ Den are now holding virtual auditions, and they want to hear from you. For its 17th season, given the COVID situation, the CBC Television show has replaced in-person auditions with video meetings and phone calls.

Hopefuls must first fill out an application that includes a brief elevator pitch. The producers will save applications for a future season, only contacting those candidates selected to move on to a virtual audition.

Who knows? Maybe you’ll end up pitching your business to the Dragons—Arlene Dickinson, Vincenzo Guzzo, Wes Hall, Manjit Minhas and Michele Romanow—on national TV.
