Make It Safe Conference in Vancouver to Explore the Real Impact of Workplace Health and Safety in B.C.’s Manufacturing Sector
From a high-voltage opening keynote through 22 practical training sessions, the Make It Safe Health & Safety Conference and Trade Show will connect the dots between health and safety practices and the real impact on B.C. workers and businesses through storytelling and practical instruction.
Make It Safe 2019 will bring together owners, managers, HR and safety professionals, and joint health and safety committees from leading B.C. manufacturing and food processing companies for two days of networking and education.
In two days of 90-minute, three-hour and full-day workshops, delegates will learn practical steps to transform their people practices and improve the performance of their safety committees. They will gain practical skills to address common and emerging manufacturing workplace hazards related to air quality, radiation, and new techniques for machine guarding and fluid power safety. They will get advice on the critical path to Occupational Safety Standard of Excellence (OSSE, or COR for manufacturing). And they will take away practical action plans to apply what they have learned to make a real impact in their own businesses.
Major sponsors of Make It Safe 2019 include CapriCMW, Agency Media and WorkSafeBC.
