The Vancouver International Wine Festival is bringing the wine world to Vancouver from February 22 to March 1 at the Vancouver Convention Centre and other venues around Metro Vancouver.
The festival spans 57 events over eight days, including the three-day Trade Days Conference, sponsored by BCBusiness. Running from Wednesday, February 26 to Friday, February 28, the Trade Days Conference features 13 events designed expressly for professionals in the hospitality and food and beverage industries, including tastings, seminars and networking lunches.
This year, VanWineFest welcomes renowned wine writer Andrew Jefford as the keynote speaker. Jefford’s talk at the Keynote Speaker Lunch on Wednesday, February 26 is French Lessons in a Warming World. This will follow up on the morning’s Climate Change Symposium, moderated by Michelle Bouffard, which explores the effects of climate change on the wine industry. Both events are of interest and open to the broader business community.
