CFO Jonathan Price will take the helm

One of B.C.’s biggest companies will see a big change at the top of the org chart. Don Lindsay, CEO of Teck Resources for the last 17 years, announced his retirement.

Lindsay has been the steady hand at Teck throughout that time—an era marked with high finishes on our annual Top 100 list.

Teck CFO Jonathan Price will take over. Price has been with the company for almost two years. He previously served as chief transformation officer of Melbourne-based mining giant BHP.

During the pandemic, we held an illuminating Q&A with Lindsay on his leadership style and what he and the company learned from COVID.
