The second edition of our awards aims to celebrate organizations throughout B.C. that turn the principles of social responsibility into action

We were lucky to get the inaugural Business of Good Awards off the ground right before the world shut down last March. This time around, the finalists had to do more than follow a great first act—they also needed to show steadfast commitment to community involvement, diversity and inclusion, workplace wellness, thought leadership and environmental sustainability under some of the harshest possible conditions.

For these companies, social responsibility doesn’t take a holiday during a crisis; if anything, they doubled down on caring for employees, customers and the planet. Some even lent a hand to fellow businesses reeling from the pandemic. Their efforts gave us and our panel of judges (see below) plenty of worthy contenders to choose from as we named winners and runners-up in the above five categories. We thank the judges for their expertise, and all of the organizations that took the time to apply for our second annual awards. Here’s hoping many more of you join us next year.
