Increasing profitability reaches far beyond client acquisition, which can actually be the costliest way of generating revenue. In addition to tax credits, the Canadian government offers funding through grants in the areas of R&D, business development, capital expenditures and hiring and training. Fueling growth through this funding, while also evaluating and restructuring expenditures such as indirect costs, can provide additional revenue and savings that can be pumped back into your business.

During this session, Bhavik Chauhan, Managing Director at Ayming, will provide you with strategies for improving your bottom line through a combination of government funding and cost optimization, leaving you with a concrete approach for driving growth and profitability.

Bhavik Chauhan is an executive specializing in business development and marketing for the last 15 years across a variety of industries, including telecommunications, media, transportation, technology and charities. With a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Marketing from De Montfort University, he has developed into a natural leader and creative thinker, helping him build rapport and trust with his clients. These skills have also served him well in his role as a director and a member of the Ayming leadership team, helping to drive innovation and cost consulting initiatives for the company’s clients in the Western Region.

What are BCBusiness Thought Leadership Events?

The BCBusiness Thought Leadership events were started to help bring together the BC business community.

From the first event featuring President of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Bob Lenarduzzi speaking on his expertise regarding team leadership, these intimate talks have consistently sold out and have helped some of the top business minds in BC grow their teams and businesses.

Every speaker has been chosen because they are a leader in their industry and can bring not only insight into their chosen fields but also actionable takeaways that you can take away and use as soon as the next day.

More than a thought leadership talk, these events also feature a fully catered networking portion further connecting business leaders.

To keep the events as intimate as possible and to ensure every attendee gets the most out of it we only open it 20 business leaders, allowing everyone in the room to ask questions and engage with the speaker.
