Tourism Vancouver’s Dine Out Festival’s second annual Grand Tasting attracted more than 400 guests to Rocky Mountaineer Station to celebrate the launch of Dine Out’s 17th season with 36 beverage tastings, 14 restaurants and a Nespresso bar. Guests wandered the grand hall tasting and sipping, all in support of the BC Hospitality Foundation (BCHF), which helps hospitality workers facing financial crisis due to health-related causes, as well as offering scholarship programs to foster the next generation of industry leaders.

The Dine Out Vancouver Festival brings together hundreds of chefs, some 300 restaurants, countless wineries, craft breweries, distilleries, vendors, producers, hotels and more for 17 days of dining, food-forward events and experiences designed to feature the best flavours of Vancouver.

Since 2008, the BCHF has helped more than 200 people, with upward of $835,000 granted to beneficiaries and 160 scholarships amounting to $218,500.
