Entrepreneurs and marketing leaders alike all strive to captivate audiences and take up space in consumers minds through a complex combination of tech and tactics – but reading up on trending insights and emerging technologies to stay ahead of the pack is never enough. Some take the next step by attending a conference to connect with peers and learn some tips from the pros along the way. We’ve been through the motions as we listen intently to speaker after speaker, feverishly taking mental notes and nodding our heads, thinking: “Yes, that’s exactly what I need to bring to my team!” or “Yes, but how can we implement this in our project given our resources?” and one walks out without real action to take. The real question is: how can you innovate when the process in attending conferences itself has become rote and uninspiring?

To shake things up, the team behind VISION 2018 is excited to introduce a new format to the conference scene that will push attendees to take a whole new perspective in a fully immersive and collaborative experience that cannot be replicated elsewhere. Take part in the interactive peer learning sessions and connect with other conference-goers that will set your mind abuzz with new ideas.

To kick-off the conference, VISION is proud to host none other than the witty and charismatic adman Rory Sutherland as the keynote speaker. With 30 years in the world of advertising, Sutherland will share his insights on human behaviour and how it relates to marketing before conference attendees dive into the strategy panel and interactive workshop sessions. This is a unique event that will give modern marketing leaders the tools to adapt and remain agile in their roles, whilst stimulating the creative thinking process within their teams and lead in an industry that’s evolving at an accelerated pace.

The speaker roster will also include:
Mo Dhaliwal, Director of Strategy at Skyrocket
John Ounpuu, Co-founder and Principal at Modern Craft
Adam Collins, VP of Strategy at Cossette
Sarah Dickinson, Founder and Organizational Designer at THNK
Erin Cooper, VP Company Programs at THNK
Stanley Lai, Design Director of Domain7
Hayley Woodwin, Reporter at Business in Vancouver
