To help us choose last year’s 30 Under 30, we sent each candidate a series of questions to see what made them tick. Here’s how Adelle Renaud, President at Noble Motives Collective, responded.
What motivational quote gets you going?“Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.’ – Oscar Wilde.”
Beyond family and friends, who inspires you to succeed?“My consumers inspire me to keep going. They are the reason I get to do what I love every day and the reason I continue to push.
What’s the best advice you’ve ever received?“Always admit when you don’t know the answer, it allows you to constantly learn from those around you.”
What’s the worst advice you’ve ever received?“When I was younger, I was quite a dreamer and someone once told me I need to wake up and join the real world. Thank goodness I had an amazing father who told me not to listen to them and my real world will be what I make it and anything is possible.”
What’s your biggest fear?“Letting people down.”
What’s your biggest regret?“I don’t have any, because if I would have done things differently then I might not be where I am.”
What’s your favourite magazine?“Fast Company – I enjoy reading other companies’ experiences of what worked for them and what didn’t.”
What song is on repeat on your device right now?“Show Me the Way’ by Penguin Prison.”
A little-known fact about me is “I hate doing laundry, and I love doing dishes.”
