PRIMARY: Arts Umbrella South Surrey fundraiser
The Shops at Morgan Crossing
April 26, 2014

More than 175 guests attended PRIMARY: the Arts Umbrella Surrey fundraiser at The Shops of Morgan Crossing, which was transformed into a spectacular arts-scape. Music, dance and performance art was on display as guest wandered through the Arts Umbrella building. Each room was customized with an Arts Umbrella performance artist and a unique cocktail, set like a nightclub with digital art exhibits.

A band and dancers performed outside in the fountain courtyard. Sal Ferreras and his host of Juno award-winning musicians had the crowd on their feet with their irresistible Brazilian, African and Cuban rhythms as they performed outside in the fountain courtyard.

Funds raised through PRIMARY will allow children to have access to high-quality arts education programs through the two Surrey locations. One hundred per cent of ticket proceeds went to funding art education opportunities for children who could not otherwise participate.
