Baubles for Banting Gala 2012 Birks Downtown Vancouver  September 27, 2012 The second annual Baubles for Banting Gala, presented by Canfor, raised over $100,000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association. The elegant affair was held at the Birks flagship store in downtown Vancouver, bringing together over 300 supporters of the cause. Themed as an evening of "Fire and Ice," sparkling gems, lavish hors d'oeuvres, sizzling hot auction items and a fiery lingerie fashion show left everyone with chills.

The second annual Baubles for Banting Gala, presented by Canfor, raised over $100,000 for the Canadian Diabetes Association. The elegant affair was held at the Birks flagship store in downtown Vancouver, bringing together over 300 supporters of the cause. Themed as an evening of “Fire and Ice,” sparkling gems, lavish hors d’oeuvres, sizzling hot auction items and a fiery lingerie fashion show left everyone with chills. 

In partnership with Telus, Birks also presented a gorgeous diamond pendant from their exclusive collection by Ivanka Trump for the raffle prize. Attendees made generous bids during the live auction, which featured a luxurious Mexican getaway and a Palm Springs golf package hosted by Rusty Goepel.
