British Columbia American Marketing Association’s Marketer of the Year Gala 2015

More than 400 guests attended the BCAMA’s Marketer of the Year Gala at the Westin Bayshore Hotel to celebrate A&W Food Services of Canada and the Marketing Excellence Awards winners. A&W received the 45th annual Marketer of the Year Award. Royal Roads University and Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia were runners up.

Guests enjoyed a cocktail reception with mini A&W Teen Burgers served as appetizers along with samples of their new chicken recipe. A dinner and a presentation on how A&W achieved its success followed the reception. Anita Bathe from News 1130 emceed  the evening.

To recognize the BCAMA’s 60th anniversary, three new awards were added:

1. Community Engagement or Not-for-profit Marketing: Theatre Under the Stars

2. Public Relations or Experiential Marketing: Nintendo 

3. Marketing on a Shoestring: Cobs Bread
