Fairmont Hotel Vancouver
June 1, 2012

Women in sparkling ballgowns and dapper men in tuxes mingled and dined in the elaborately decorated ballroom of the Fairmont Vancouver Hotel for the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s signature gala event. As one of the most exclusive fundraising evenings in B.C., the event drew out Vancouver’s elite, adorned with heart pins, to show their support at this 8th annual gala.

Gala chair Carey Smith and honorary chair Bob Gallagher graciously toasted supporters of the Heart and Stroke Foundation with flutes of champagne cocktails. Through sales of tickets and auction items, the event raised an incredible $712,000 in support of heart disease and stroke research, and health promotion and advocacy.
