First West Credit Union, along with developer partner PCI Developments, interior designer Omicron Canada, project architect MCMP Architects and general contractor Etro Construction, has officially broken ground for its new regional office, located at the corner of 200 Street and 88 Avenue West in Langley.

The $100-million building, which will total 130,000 square feet, with First West occupying more than half of the space with its 320 employees, is scheduled for completion in late 2020.

The rest of the development will feature retail and additional office space for lease. Near public transit, the development will include a fitness centre, an outdoor patio, a ground-floor public plaza and a pedestrian pathway. The building will also incorporate sustainable building practices with better accessibility by targeting Rick Hansen Accessiblity Certification, along with the National Standard of Canada for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
