Take, say, one of Canada’s earliest forms of mass transportation, route it to a few select destinations in Canada’s West, and even in the midst of a vulnerable economy you’ve got a recipe for success. Rocky Mountaineer – fanfare, please – has taken home top honours as this year’s BCAMA’s Marketer of the Year.
The award recognizes the most outstanding integrated marketing strategy in the province of B.C. Despite competing with some of B.C.’s most talented marketers, Rocky Mountaineer’s little engine putted its way to the top with its progressive branding and marketing. So maybe it doesn’t require some high-tech, new-age product in order to make it big. Rejuvenate something you’ve had around for years and make it your own, because that little engine that could…just did.
