Canada ranks fourth highest globally for employee turnover

study by LinkedIn in 2017 shows that Canada has the fourth-highest employee turnover at 16 percent, significantly above than the 11-percent global rate. While organizations are legally allowed to monitor employees’ Internet history, email and instant-messaging content, companies in the country are still struggling to predict how likely their employees are to leave. But is sentiment analysis—using data monitoring to understand employees—ethical or even effective?
