There are people born with a knack for left-brained tasks – those who understand complex equations and could probably create the next Apple phenomenon. These are the kinds of people honoured at the Generator Challenge, a competition that recognizes Vancouver’s most promising early-stage technology companies.
Eight winners were awarded space in a 5,000-square-foot, premium, turn-key Generator workspace at Discovery Parks. The workspace was designed to give technology start-ups a boost into the marketplace. Mayor Gregor Robertson even made a guest appearance to congratulate the eight award recipients on their success. Keep an eye out for eight up-and-coming genius tech crews from YVR.
