2014 Scotiabank Feast of Fortune
The Hyatt Regency Hotel
February 8, 2014

More than 600 people attended the Scotiabank Feast of Fortune, presented by the Tapestry Foundation for Health Care, to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The event included fine dining, live and silent auctions, entertainment and opportunities for donors to pledge individual gifts through a special “Save A Life” segment of the evening’s program.

The event raised funds for new endoscopy equipment that will help prevent colon cancer and save lives for patients at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital. Attendees surpassed the event’s fundraising goal, raising more than $500,000. Over the past six years this event has raised more than $2.3 million for priority equipment needs at Mount Saint Joseph Hospital, including establishing new services such as the Providence Health Care Breast Centre, and the Heart and Elder Care Ambulatory Clinics.
