The Buzz Event Xi Shi Lounge, Shangri-La Hotel November 24, 2011   The Buzz Event, now in its sixth chapter, gathers budding entrepreneurs, PR socialites and the twitterati. Set in the Xi Shi Lounge of the Shangri-La Hotel, the evening's speakers included Amielle Lake, CEO and co-founder of Tagga; Lucas Roberts, president and CEO of Macinhome; and Travis Johnson, co-owner of Vancouver Circus School.

The Buzz Event, now in its sixth chapter, gathers budding entrepreneurs, PR socialites and the twitterati. Set in the Xi Shi Lounge of the Shangri-La Hotel, the evening’s speakers included Amielle Lake, CEO and co-founder of Tagga; Lucas Roberts, president and CEO of Macinhome; and Travis Johnson, co-owner of Vancouver Circus School.

Organizers also launched a new addition to The Buzz Event called the Start-Up Spotlight, which gives notable startups an opportunity to share their story. This event’s spotlight featured Springboard, a crowd-funding platform that enables people to raise money for business and goodwill projects.
