The end of the Canadian Alliance

The federal political party the Canadian Alliance hasn’t existed for a long time, but the party’s name and logo had lived on in the form of Mexico’s Nueva Alianza.

That ends this week, according to Maclean’s.

The Western populist party’s counterpart will cease to exist, having failed to win enough votes in the July 1 election to maintain its registration.
