The Shift Key Presses Esc
The Shift Key bids its readers farewell as Tommy Humphreys saddles up for his sunset ride.
It’s been a good run for the fresh-faced kid who promised to help you bolster web strategy for your small or medium-sized business. For over a year blogging at the Shift Key, I’ve tried to simplify the complexities of the online world, along the way dispensing tips and suggestions on topics as wide as design and functionality, social media and digital trends. We’ve gone through ups and downs together – from getting hosed on SEO to learning a valuable lesson from Jimmy Pattison himself. I hope it’s been enjoyable. And I hope it’s been useful.
As BCBusiness readies itself for an online overhaul – they’re building the new site as we speak; it should be ready by June 2011 – the time has come for the Shift Key to bid its readers farewell. Thank you to everyone. I’ll still be contributing expert opinion to BCBusiness from time to time, but in the mean, you can catch me most regularly on Twitter. Of course, ever present are the Shift Key archives, a repository of webby wisdom, and a place to re-read your favourite posts.
Very best regards,
Tommy Humphreys February 11, 2011
