On October 7, 2015 130 guests gathered at Rosewood Hotel Georgia for BCBusiness‘ Small Business, Big Opportunity Panel Discussion Breakfast presented by Deloitte. The panel consisted of five small business experts: Étienne Bruson, managing partner B.C., Deloitte; Judy Brooks, entrepreneur and co-founder of Blo Blow Dry Bar Inc.; David Gens, president, CEO and founder, Merchant Advance Capital Ltd.; Lesley Lawrence, senior vice president, financing and consulting, B.C. and North, BDC; Arran Stephens, co-founder and co-CEO, Nature’s Path Foods.
Over 130 attendees were treated to an enlightening discussion on the challenges facing today’s small businesses, the growth opportunities that exists for these companies and how small businesses can successfully deal with change and attrition. The great conversation between the panelists and the enthusiastic Q&A that concluded the event proves the interest and passion for small business in our province is as strong as it’s ever been.
