What workplace skills will be in demand by 2030: study

McKinsey Global Institute, a U.S.-headquartered business and economic research organization, recently analyzed 25 core workplace skills today and in the future to determine what workers in the U.S., France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the U.K. will need to know. By 2030, demand for technological competence will rise by 55 percent and social and emotional talent by 24 percent. On the other hand, demand for basic cognitive abilities will decline by 15 percent and physical and manual aptitude by 14 percent.
