Younger Canadians prefer Uber over conventional taxi service

Angus Reid Institute has released a new study that shows age is the main driver when it comes to preferences for Uber. Although 39 percent of Canadians say they prefer taxi over Uber (29 percent), younger ones, especially millennial men (49 percent), say they prefer the ride-sharing app over a traditional taxi service. The differences in opinion are mainly from lack of familiarity older Canadians have with Uber.
