Gas hits record prices in Vancouver

On the weekend, gas prices hit a record high in Vancouver, costing commuters 160.9 cents a litre.

That trend is posed to continue, as experts predict that all stations will hit around 161.9 cents this week, and will be charging around 165 cents come summer.

Vancouver now reportedly has the highest gas prices of any major city in North America, with Victoria in second place.

Other places in B.C. were even higher, with Haida Gwaii reaching 173.3 cents a litre.
