Vancouver Aquarium raises more than $165,000 at the 2015 Toast to the Coast

The 2015 Toast to the Coast at the Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre on October 16 raised a record amount to support its conservation, research and education programs, including Ocean Wise, the national sustainable seafood program now in its 10th year.

The 650 attendees at the sold-out event enjoyed sustainable dishes from 11 Ocean Wise restaurant partners. This year’s Toast to the Coast was also supported by presenting sponsor CIBC, vehicle sponsor Ford, SCA North America, Dentons and Air Canada, which donated a grand prize to the raffle of two tickets to any destination where Air Canada Premium rouge flies.

The Vancouver Aquarium Marine Science Centre is a nonprofit society dedicated to the conservation of aquatic life.
