2011 BC Export Awards Gala Hyatt Regency Vancouver October 28, 2011  The BC Export Awards gala celebrates the achievements of our province's exporting companies, the second-largest contributors to the B.C. economy. Members of the global trade community were joined by notable guests including Richard T. Lee, parliamentary secretary for Asia-Pacific, and MLA Vancouver-Quilchena Colin Hansen.

The BC Export Awards gala celebrates the achievements of our province’s exporting companies, the second-largest contributors to the B.C. economy. Members of the global trade community were joined by notable guests including Richard T. Lee, parliamentary secretary for Asia-Pacific, and MLA Vancouver-Quilchena Colin Hansen.

Avigilon, a high-def megapixel video surveillance systems company, was named 2011 Exporter of the Year. The event, hosted by the B.C. division of the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) and provincial ministry of jobs, tourism, and innovation, will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2012.
