5th Annual Surrey Women in Business Awards

More than 120 guests attended the sold-out 5th annual Surrey Women in Business Awards, presented by the Surrey Board of Trade. The gala honoured the successful women that make Surrey’s business community a vibrant place, with Steve Darling of Global BC as the ceremony’s emcee. The Honourable Naomi Yamamoto, minister of state for tourism and small business, spoke at the ceremony, along with keynote speaker Marcella Szel, Translink board chair.

“The event showcased some of the best and brightest women of Surrey’s business community that have earned the right to be celebrated and receive well-deserved recognition,” said Anita Huberman, Surrey Board of Trade CEO. “The purpose of the Surrey Board of Trade’s event was to inspire, motivate and educate attendees—both men and women.”
