Fairmont Pacific Rim Hotel
September 19, 2013

The annual Big Sisters gala attracted more than 300 guests and raised over $210,000 for mentoring programs in the Lower Mainland. The evening began with a champagne reception and silent auction followed by dinner in the ballroom. The evening wrapped up with a live auction, raffle draw and entertainment, emceed by 103.5 QMFM’s Arran Henn and CBC’s Man About Town Fred Lee.

One of the Little Sisters gave a moving speech concerning the value of Big Sisters, giving attendees true insight into what the program offers to the local community. For over 50 years, Big Sisters has been committed to enhancing the confidence, self-esteem and well-being of girls through supportive relationships with female mentors.
