Symphony in the Park VIP Dinner
Hart House Restaurant
July 14, 2013

A record-breaking 10,000 people attended the 25th annual Symphony in the Park in Burnaby’s spectacular Deer Lake Park. VIPs were invited to Hart House Restaurant for a private reception and five-star buffet garden dinner. After dinner, which included a whole suckling pig, guests took a short stroll to a VIP, reserved-seating area to enjoy the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s free concert.

This annual event is the result of the City of Burnaby’s longstanding partnership with the VSO. It enables thousands of citizens from Burnaby and beyond to celebrate local culture and creativity in a beautiful setting. The City of Burnaby and its partners have made this free-admission concert a signature summer event at Deer Lake Park in co-operation with the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts. Over 160,000 people have experienced the Symphony in the Park concert over the past 25 years.
