Vancouver Convention Centre West
February 23, 2012

The Vancouver Convention Centre played host to the always elegant Symphony Lovers’ Ball. The 22nd annual event, which continues to attract nearly 500 of Vancouver’s corporate and philanthropic community leaders, raises funds for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO) and education programs for youth and young adults. Money raised also helps Vancouver maintain a musically enriched community by being able to attract and afford legendary performers such as Lang Lang, Yo-Yo Ma, Renée Fleming and Itzhak Perlman.

The event, co-chaired by Nancy Margitan and Liz Gordon, auctioned off the finest luxury goods, 3D televisions and trips across the world. Guests wined, dined and danced the night away to the classical melodies performed by the VSO, conducted by the highly regarded Bramwell Tovey.
