Talent shortages could increase salaries by $2.5 trillion globally in 2030

study by international consulting firm Korn Ferry shows that salaries for highly skilled workers could increase as global talent shortages take hold. The surge could add $2.5 trillion to annual payrolls globally by 2030. The increase could threaten companies’ profitability and business models. The study done in 20 major global economies across three sectors: financial and business services; technology, media and telecommunications; and manufacturing also estimates the impact on payroll and how much organizations are able to pay their employees.
