The Full State of Marketing in B.C. Report

BCAIM State of Marketing | BCBusiness

Last month’s findings from a report compiled by Ipsos ASI and the BCAIM revealed the patterns of how local marketers spend budgets today and their intent in the future. The survey is a first-ever check-in focusing strictly on B.C.

In our March issue we covered the findings of the B.C. Association of Integrated Marketers and Ipsos ASI in a first-ever survey of local marketers titled “The State of Marketing in B.C.” The report concluded that “social is hot, and it’s where investment will increase the fastest this year.” It also noted that “tracking social media metrics still seems to be secondary to sales and other more established metrics.” It also concluded that “intimate customer touchpoints are still getting a lot of our attention,” as are an intense focus on the customer experience and product and service strategy.
