As Frances Bula writes this month, the Olympics are coming to town – and, love them or hate them, you’re not likely to change your mind about them. But is this really true? We know that, since the Vancouver’s successful bid was announced, some in the city have oscillated between enthusiasm for and disparagement of our Olympic enterprise. We’re now one year out, and so we sent BCB reporter Lisa Nguyen out with her camera to gauge the mood on the streets. Anomie or bonhomie? You be the judge.
