More than 300 guests attended the 11th annual Passions Gala benefiting the Dr. Peter AIDS Foundation. The event featured 20 of Vancouver’s top restaurants and chefs, with cocktails by Lauren Mote of Bittered Sling and Danielle Tatarin of the Keefer Bar. A champagne reception kicked off the night, followed by speakers Shirley Young, Dr. Peter’s mother; Nathan Fong, Passions chair and founder; and Maxine Davis, Passions executive director.

The event was emceed by Sophie Lui from Global TV and Jonny Staub from The Beat 94.5 FM. Fred Lee was the evening’s auctioneer and helped to raise a record $125,000, with an array of culinary and travel silent auction items and exciting live auction packages.
