Good leadership is an indispensable resource for any organization. An effective leader not only contributes to a firm’s overall growth but can also drive innovation, create a good working environment, mentor newcomers and pave the way for the next generation of leaders.

University Canada West’s ACBSP and NCMA-accredited Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree program, which recently received a 5 Star rating from QS Stars, is designed to prepare students to become effective leaders, both nationally and internationally. Throughout the program, students learn the skills needed to tackle challenging situations with aplomb, apply pragmatic solutions to problems and drive the success of an organization through intelligent decision-making.

Learning what makes an effective leader, UCW MBA alumni are confident in their management skills and more capable of responding strategically to business challenges.

To ensure its students are up to date with the latest and upcoming technological trends UCW collaborates with digital leaders such as the Digital Marketing Institute, Salesforce, Amazon, Tableau and IBM Design Thinking, incorporating relevant digital components into its MBA courses.

UCW’s MBA degree program is offered both on-campus and online.

With UCW’s Online MBA degree program, students get all the same course materials and curriculum as the on-campus program with the ability to complete their work at their own pace. No need to stick to a strict course schedule. The flexible hours allow you to fit studying and coursework around other commitments. The Online MBA program means you can work on professional development while obtaining an academic qualification and advance your career.

With video lectures and all the course materials provided, online students don’t feel any less prepared than students who have studied on-campus. And the online program gives students the ability to network with a global community of fellow students.

Experiential Learning

UCW is focused on equipping students with practical applied skills by bringing real work experiences into the classroom through relevant real-life case studies, internships, networking opportunities and the Career Development Centre.

In the fall of 2020, UCW partnered with Riipen to bring real-world business examples into the classroom, giving students the hands-on experience of working with a company during their studies.

Micro-Credentials

UCW’s lineup of micro-credentials, which focus on technology, business and innovation, can help both students and busy working professionals gain valuable and specific skills in a short amount of time. And online, self-paced learning options make it possible to incorporate coursework into your busy schedule.

Available courses cover many topics – Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, Corporate Social Responsibility, Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, E-Commerce and Entrepreneurship. Whether you are looking to explore a new career path or upskill to take your career to the next level, UCW’s micro-credentials have a plethora of options.
