Awards handed out to B.C.’s most accomplished small businesses

Small Business BC’s annual awards gala highlights 10 success stories from across the province

Small Business BC handed out awards to ten B.C. Companies, from best immigrant entrepreneur to best online marketer, at a gala at the Pan Pacific in Vancouver Thursday night. The titles were the result of a five month process that scrutinized 460 nominated businesses—up from 417 in 2014—through online voting and a Dragons’ Den style pitch panel.

Eligible businesses had to have fewer than 50 employees, and judges looked at those that are making contributions to their local communities and doing business abroad. Here’s the full list of winners:
