In a Guardian article on two “minority-majority cities (those in which visible minorities make up most of the population) in Ontario, Larry Beasley speaks about his plans for Brampton. 

The former City of Vancouver planner says that intercultural interaction is key to the strategy hes overseeing in the southern Ontario city. Seventy-three percent of Brampton residents are visible minorities, the Guardian reports.

One wonders if Beasley is talking to his cohorts in places like Richmond or Burnaby about pursuing a similar goal.
