B.C. promises to get serious about cracking down on illicit casino funds

Attorney General David Eby has tapped Peter German, former deputy commissioner of the RCMP and Correctional Service Canada, to find out what’s happening in B.C. casinos.

Eby confirmed that there are large, suspicious cash transactions coming and going through casinos in the Lower Mainland. 

What’s not yet known is where this money is coming from and where it’s going.
