B.C. takes to courts to fight Alberta wine boycott

Instead of taking our advice and fighting fire with fire, the B.C. government has decided to go the legal route, challenging Alberta’s boycott of B.C. wine under the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.

Alberta premier Rachel Notley originally announced the boycott after B.C.’s attempts to block the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion.

It remains to be seen whether B.C.’s challenge will hold up in court.
