Enterra Feed Corp., based in Langley, takes a star turn in a recent Reuters report on the growth of insect farming — for now largely for the animal feed market but starting to catch on as a more environmentally sustainable source of animal protein in the human diet. Even giants like McDonald’s are keeping an eye on this space, thus far left to independents like Enterra though the giants of agribusiness are circling.
