Fancy yourself a mixologist? Shake it up at Science World when 25 top Vancouver bartenders demonstrate the chemistry, biology and physics behind modern cocktails and cuisine. Tickets–proceeds support Science World’s class field trips for underserved Lower Mainland schools–include hors d’oeuvres prepared by molecular gastronomists and, of course, cocktails. Canadian Financing Forum 2017
Back for its 20th anniversary, the Canadian Financing Forum brings together about 40 of the “most promising” information and sustainable technology companies to compete for investments from Canadian and U.S. venture capital firms and angel investors. Delegates can meet the investors, who will share tips on what makes a compelling investment opportunity and shed light on current trends. The forum is followed by pitch presentations from startups, made in front of a feedback panel.

BC Tourism Industry Conference
