For the fifth year in a row, The Economist has ranked Vancouver number three on its list of the world’s most livable cities. But as “the best place on earth,” livability is what B.C. is all about. Check out these five lifestyle-oriented real estate developments around the province.

George Marine Resort & Residences, Gibsons
The lifestyle: Located on the Gibsons Landing waterfront, along with the new hotel and residences, there will be a new seawalk, expanded marina, marina-side restaurant, conference centre and a 21,000-square-foot health and wellness centre, the first of its kind in the Vancouver region and second in Canada.

The homes: 40 condos ranging from 650 to 2,000+ square feet, one bedroom to two bedrooms + den. One-bedroom suites start at $399,000, and two-bedroom homes start at $699,900.

Skaha Hills, Penticton
