Commenting on the recent Vancouver city council decision to allow two separate doors (and lobbies, designed to “different standards) for market strata and social housing residents, a Globe and Mail editorial suggests that the poor door is dangerously similar to the segregated drinking fountains, train cars and hotels once found in America’s south.
